A 10-yr old kid was stabbed in his thigh by another 11-yr old boy. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon in Via Oreto, in the historical center of Cattolica Eraclea (Agrigento). According to the Carabinieri’s first reconstruction of the facts the fight broke out for petty reasons. At a given point in time, the 11-year old, who is the son of Rumanian immigrants, reportedly extracted a knife from his pocket, with which he then injured his “rival”. The young victim was then taken to the Emergency Room of the Agrigento Hospital where he was medicated and received a 15-day prognosis. The eleven-year old cannot be prosecuted for a criminal offence but the Carabinieri interrogated his parents in order to better understand the social environment in which the attack took place. .
