The Carabinieri in Naples arrested 23 people -including minors- for extorsions to shopkeepers and entrepreneurs. The custody orders have been issued by the Naples preliminary investigations magistrate for prolongued extorsions, aggravated by their belonging to Mafia gangs. During investigations coordinated by the district’s anti-Mafia authorities, agents found a network racketeers in the Ercolano and Torre del Greco area, between April and June, who extorted shopkeepers and business owners from 2007 to date.
