There has been little change in the Francesco Cossiga’s condition in the last 48 hours, although he has got no worse. The news came in a medical bulletin issued by the Gemelli hospital this morning. Doctors have explained that, since Mr Cossiga is on permanent life support, the prognosis remains guarded. The former President remains in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
