The Indian Army has evacuated 172 foreign tourists who were trapped for a week by flooding in Ladakh, Kashmir. Army spokesman J.S. Brar said 162 tourists found refuge in a village in the area, while another ten were in a village nearby. They were given medical treatment and fed.
