Nine NATO soldiers perished in a helicopter accident in South Afghanistan. According to ISAF first reports, two more NATO soldiers were injured in the crash, together with an Afghan trooper and an US civilian. A first assessment indicates that “no enemy forces were present in the area at the time of the crash.
