Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said, “the Zionists are lethal” while visiting Bint Jbeil in Lebanon. The town, a mere four kilometers from the Israeli border, is a Hezbollah stronghold and he was given a hero’s welcome by 15,000 people, among them women and children. Ahmadinejad, who had never been this close to his arch-enemy, greeted the crowds with the victory sign in a part of the country devastated by war between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, the political national resistance movement against Israeli occupation in Lebanon.
