It is the hour of victory for low-cost travel: US airline companies are reducing their 1st class section. According to the International Air Transport Association, the number of flights in business class dropped by 16% in 2009. United Airliines is among the companies that intend to remove their First Class section altogether. In its new configuration, the Group’s Boeing 747 will be installed with approximately 70 additional economy class seats and 20 seats less in business class.
