Herat – A passing “Lynx” has been bombed, 12 kms from Shindand: the five Alpine soldiers aboard were unhurt. The vehicle withstood the blast, sustaining damage to the lower part alone. The patrol consisted of six “Lynxes”, on their way to the Zirko Valley, where a meeting with local leaders had been scheduled.
