AUTO: CHINESE GEELY PURCHASES VOLVO FOR 1.8 BLN DOLLARS

The Chinese automobile company Geely has completed its acquisition of Volvo from Ford Motor. The operation is worth 1.8 billion Dollars. This morning in Hong Kong, Geely’s shares rose by 5.6%, the highest quotation in the last two months.
