Civil Protection has issued a bad weather warning of strong winds, heavy rain and rough seas in the south and islands. Meteorologists explain: ‘A front system coming down from Northern Europe will affect the main islands and regions of central-southern Italy’. ‘Anyone planning excursions or sailing activities’ is urged to take the utmost care.
