The operation on Angelo Gigli’s right wrist has gone perfectly. A communique’ issued by the Roman club says that “fortunately the ligament turned out to be only partly torn and has been reconstructed, and thus a single ‘anchor’ has been inserted without the need for grafts from other parts of the ligament”.
