CHILE: 33 MINERS FORM TEAMS AND SLEEP IN TURNS

The 33 miners trapped at a depth of 700 meters in Chile have been split in half in order to sleep in two turns. This way they can better simulate the division between night and day, as the Chilean Health Minister Jaime Manalich explained. Each one of them has been assigned a specific task as part of a team of four plus a leader, in charge of managing the pipes through which food and supplies are delivered.
