NASA has offered to help Chilean authorities to rescue the 33 miners trapped underground. In the meanwhile a rigorous routine is being developed for the miners to follow: diet and physical exercise to facilitate rescue efforts during the crucial phase, when they will have to pass through a shaft whose diameter will not exceed one meter.
