Having claimed responsibility for the attacks on West Bank settlers, Hamas has announced that strikes will continue. In a recent escalation accompanying the resumption of direct talks in Washington, four settlers were killed Ramallah and two injured in Hebron. Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri today said “neither retaliation, nor Fatah nor occupation will stop us.” Israeli forces arrested several Hamas members in the wake of the civilian assassinations.
