Scuffles between a group of demonstrators from the quake-hit Abruzzi region and the police in Rome. A young man was injured when hit by a police truncheon. The police managed to force a passage through the crowd in Piazza Venezia allowing demonstrators to flow into Via del Corso and eventually reach the Parliament.
