Egypt earmarked Usd 1 bln for investments in broadband technology that will bring the number of internet users to 4 mln in 2014. A”Euromonitor” report stated that “greater access to the web has increased the number of broadband users tenfold, from 141,000 in 2004 to 1,5 million in 2009.”
