European Stock Exchanges open on a downtrend following Wall Street and Tokyo with London at -0,9% & Milan at -1,18%. In Frankfurt, the Dax is dropping by 0.8% and in Paris the Cac 40 is yielding 1.09%. Madrid is losing 1.45%.
Today the Fed’s FOMC meeting will be closed and forecasts are that the formula of low rates will be maintained over “a prolonged period of time”.
