After July 1st four and a half million Italian families will be billed for electricity based on a new system. A statement from the Energy Agency has announced that with this new system, electricity will no longer have one flat rate as currently applied.
Rates will be cheaper in the early morning, in the evening and a night, as well as on Saturdays and bank holidays, with costs rising between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m
