FINANCE: UK’S OSBORNE PLEDGES ZERO DEFICIT IN 5 YEARS

Chancellor of the exchequer George Osborne announced his government’s commitment zero UK deficit within 5 years. The announcement came just prior to the government’s presentation to the lower house of its extraordinary budget review package.
