Vanderlei Luxemburgo, former manager of the Brazil team, is the new coach of Flamengo. The 59-year old manager was dismissed by the Atletico Mineiro last month and is now returning to the Carioca club after 15 years. Luxemburgo is stepping in for Paulo Silas, who was sent away last Monday after Flamenco slipped down to 15th place in the championship.
