Al Qaeda has warned Paris not to attempt freeing the hostages in Niger. The warning was launched by an Internet site run by the terrorist organization operating in the Islamic Maghreb. Yesterday, the French president, Nicolas Sarkozy, stated that the security services had been “mobilized in order to free” the hostages.
