French industrial output was flat in August, versus July, thwarting expectations for a 0,3% rise. The July data showed a 0,80% increase (revised down from +0,9%). Manufacturing output was stable in August while car production rose 2,4%. The production of clothing and shoes fell 6,6%. Production of chemicals dropped 2% and output in the agrifood industry was -1,2%.
