The International Monetary Fund is willing to defer Greece’s loan payback. The news was disclosed by the head of IMF Dominique Strauss-Kahn to Bloomberg’s, according to who the IMF will give green light to the deferral if the European Union, which is the one that contributed most of the 110 billion Euro loan, gives its OK first. According to Strauss-Kahn, the Greeks are “doing exactl what they should be doing” to limit expenditures and achieve the targets set. Moreover, Strauss-Kahn pointed out that the deferral will mostly depend on the state of the global economy. “If Europe decides to do something – he said – we’ll do the same”. . .
