Greek Minister George Papacostantinou excludes that his Country might run the risk of having to reschedule its debt. Athens’ Finance Minister comments on the Financial Times: “There will be no debt rescheduling – he assures – Greece’s eventual rescheduling would have very broad consequences for Europe”. The Minister’s comments were made while in London a roadshow is under way to convince investors to buy long-term Greek government bonds. “If Greece were to reschedule – he added – who in the world would continue to buy the bonds of the peripheral Countries? It would mean breaking down European unity”.
