According to Bernstein, Apple’s tablet is being purchased at a rate of 4.5 million units a quarter. If the trend is confirmed also in 2011, the iPad will record sales for over 9 billion Dollars, outperforming mobile phones and consoles and becoming the fourth most-profitable product of the sector, after TV, smart-phones and notebooks.
