Nine Europeans out of 10 say they are favorable to Public Development Aid to combat poverty. The figures are revealed in a Eurobarometer poll, only a week before the World Millenium Development Goals Summit. Organized by the United Nations, the Summit will convene the Heads of State and Governments to take stock of the promises made by the international community 10 years ago: to reduce the number of starving people and extreme poverty in the world by 50% before 2015.
