Ayodhya, a religious site in North India holy to both Hindus and Muslims, is to be divided. The court of Uttar Pradesh decreed that the land will be split into a number of lots so Hindus can build a temple to the god Rama and Muslims can rebuild their sixteenth-century mosque.
