An Egyptian airplane landed in Iran: it is the first since Khomeini’s Islamic revolution 30 years ago. A jet of the Smart Avion Company touched ground at Tehran Airport shortly after midnight. On board of the plane was an Iranian delegation led by Vice President Hamid Baquei, who signed an agreement with Egyptian Civil Aviation Minister Ahmed Shafiq a few days ago, with the aim of reopening direct flights between the two Countries, which have suspended diplomatic relations ever since 1979.
