KAMPUCHEA: MA SLAUGHTERS RELATIVES OPPOSING A RAPE

A man has killed 5 relatives and wounded 3 more who opposed his attempted rape of a 16-year old sister-in-law. The aggressor then hanged himself. It happened in the Svay Rieng province, near the Vietnamese border. The killer, identified as Nang, broke into the girl’s house and tried to rape her. When their relatives tried to defend her, Nang pulled a knife and started the slaughter, killing his wife, their two year old son, his mother-in-law and two sisters-in-law. The killer’s daughter, a nephew and the attacked sister-in-law survived the massacre.
