Moscow – The government believes that the death toll in Kyrgyzstan may be ‘ten times’ higher than estimated. Interim president, Rosa Otunbayeva, on a visit to Osh today, commented: “I would multiply the official figures by ten.” According to official estimates 191 people were killed in the clashes in Osh and Jalalabad and 2000 were injured.
