M. E.: ROCKET AND MORTAR SHOTS FIRED FROM GAZA

Palestinian militants fired a rocket and mortar shots from Gaza towards the south of Israel. The rocket and mortar shells fell in a desert south of Askelon causing no damage or casualties.
