Dermatologists launch an alarm: smokers and drinkers are more exposed to being affected by melanoma. The issue will be discussed in the ADOI Conference which will be inaugurated on the 29th of September. The prescription to prevent melanoma, to be proposed by the Association of Italian Hospital Dermatologists (ADOI) during the 49th National Congress that will be held in Cagliari till the 2nd of October, is to protect one’s skin ever since childhood and to not give into the vice of cigarette smoking and alcohol consumption during adulthood. The Conference will also focus on psoriasis, rare skin diseases, acne, new diagnostic instruments and new skin care treatments. .
