The Mexican army has carried out a raid against drug cartels killing at least 27 drug-traffickers. The firefight took place at the border between the state of New Leon and Tamaulipas. The area is controlled by the powerful Zetas cartel, considered responsible for the deaths of 72 migrants whose bodied were discovered on a farm on August 24 .
