Naples – A 41-year old Salerno-born man was arrested by the Carabinieri for sexually abusing his 4-year old niece. The abuse by the brother of the little girl’s mother occurred between March and April 2010.
Investigations began when the little girl, who was being monitored by the social services of the Municipality of Salerno for the precarious conditions of her family unit, told the assistants of an “ugly secret”, of “ugly games”, doing drawings and reproducing what was being done to her through the use of dolls.
The police also heard the little girls teachers. In addition, on one occasion, the man allegedly involved in the abuse, together with another person, also a little cousin of the girl.
