In his ‘The Grand Design’, world renowned astrophysicist Stephen Hawking dismisses a heavenly hand in creation. In his latest book Hawking argues tha just as Darwin’s theory of evolution superceded bible-based creationism, the new frontiers of physics are doing away with an active hand in creating the universe. “Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist”, the Lucasian professor argues. .
