Alfonso Marra, President of Milan’s Court of Appeal, steps down from the judiciary. He was involved in the investigation conducted by the Public Prosecution of Rome on the so-called P3, on the basis of some indirectly intercepted telephone conversations with the former tax court judge Lombardi. “I never fell short of performing my duties”, Marra wrote in a letter sent to the CSM, the magistrates’ governing body.
