PAKISTAN: UNICEF, 252 MLN DLR FOR 10 MLN FLOOD VICTIMS

According to UNICEF’s latest report, over 10 million children have been affected by the flooding in Pakistan. Acknowledging the scope of the crisis and the growing needs, the UN Agency has revised its appeal, increasing it to 252.3 million Dollars to cover a 12-month period from August 2010 to the end of July 2011. To date, UNICEF is still lacking 160.8 million Dollars in funds.
