The super-typhoon Megi violently landed in northern Philippines. The super-cyclone caused landslides on the mountains, destroyed hose roofs, triggered sea tempests and enormous waves along the coast, killing at least one person. Schools have been closed and people has been evacuated by the thousands from the northern section of Luzon, the main island of the archipelago, several hours ahead of the typhoon’s landing.
