POPE THANKS ENGLISH LAY WORKERS IN CHILD ABUSE ISSUE

This work is done by lay people, “whose commitment,” said Benedict XVI speaking at St Mary’s University in London, “is to guarantee that our scgools provide a safe environment for children and the young. Our responsibility to those entrusted to us for a Christian education requires nothing less, ” he emphasised.
