According to the traditional UBS study of ‘Prices and Wages’, the highest level of purchasing power, calculated on the basis of net annual income, is to be found in Zurich, Miami and Los Angeles. The two Italian cities included in the sample did badly, with Milan 26th and Rome 41st. .
