Rome – The Spanish Prisa group is to bid for the “Le Monde” publishing company, according to the “Les Echos” newspaper. Reports say that Prisa already owns 15% of “Le Monde”. The prestigious French newspaper now needs several tens of millions of euros to come in over the next few weeks to avoid having to suspend the payment of salaries.
