Vittorio Emanuele and five others are to be tried for crimes linked to illegal gambling.
The request was presented by Rome’s public prosecutor Andrea De Gasperi, who has charged the accused also with activities linked to “the illegal market for video poker permits, obtained and provided by the State Monopoly by systematically resorting to corruption and fraud.”
