The French government is preparing its response to Brussels over the Roma expulsions. Representatives from the Elysee Palace, the Hotel Matignon and the Ministries of the Interior and Immigration have met to draw up the response to EU Commissioner Viviane Reding, asking for clarification over the circular issued on 5th August, devoted to the expulsions “of Romas in particular” (a circular superseded last Monday).
