A national Committee was set up in Senegal to manage the switchover from the analog to a digital audiovisual system. The operation will take place under the control of the Ministry of Communications and Telecomunications and the Committee will be in charge of guiding and coordinating it. The new Committee will include representatives of the Public Administration, of the Audiovisual and Telecom Regulatory bodies, and of both public and private enterprises.
