At least 60 people were killed when a container carrying explosives from a building firm blew up in Sri Lanka. The truck was parked near a police station in Karadiyanaru, near the eastern port of Batticaloa, when it exploded. The victims of the explosion included two foreigners, believed to be Chinese nationals.
