NEW STRIKE CALLED IN FRANCE FOR OCTOBER 19

Protests in France against Sarkozy’s pension reform have not stopped and trade unions have called another strike for October 19, on the eve of the final vote in the Senate. The new strike, the sixth since September, has been agreed on by all French trade unions including ‘France Ouvrier’ which had not yet joined the protests. In the meantime, tens of thousands of French high school students filled the streets again today
