A Taliban militant group attacked a NATO base and airport in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. A Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, claims the group of militants was made up of 6 men. NATO’s Jalalabad base is one of the largest in Afghanistan, after Kandahar and Bagram. Both of these were also targeted by the Taliban several times in recent months. .
