TOKYO STOCK EXCHANGE: CLOSES ON A DOWNTREND, NIKKEI -1.22%

The Tokyo Stock Exchange closed down in the wake of a profit-taking rally, annulling the benefits of the Yuan. The Nikkei closed the trading session at 10,112.89 (-1.22%) points while the Topix index lost 0.88% down to 894.56 points.
