The UN have entitled a Malese astrophysicist, Mazlan Othman, to greet aliens should they disembark on the Earth. The woman will be appointed head of the Minister for Space Affairs (UNOOSA) next week. The discovery of hundreds of new planets, says Othman, will increase chances of finding life other than on the Earth.
