U.S.A.: MOBILE PHONES, PRICES CUT BY 50% IN 10 YEARS

Prices cut down by 50%, better service but less competition among providers is the scenario for mobile calls in 10 years from now. This sector, with a turnover of 150 million Dollars in the U.S., was evalutated by the Government Accountability Office. According to estimates, between 1999 and 2009, rates applied by companies like AT&T, Verizon and TMobile have dropped by 50%. The consolidation, however, cut off small providers.
